Where the child's growth is top priority,
your voice is heard in the IEP,
and you become confident!
My daughter has met all of her goals
because of her IEP’s- it’s great to have
someone in your corner

Shelley's PD was what my teachers needed to hear!

Shelley Kenow is great. She helped me
with some issues that I was having with
my sons teacher. We live in Va but she
helped us like she was there in person.
I can tell she cared about my son and
that’s rare these days. Thanks Ms Kenow!

I have worked with many special education teachers in my career and Shelley is one of the best!

Shelley is a an expert in her field. She knows exactly what need to be done and will be an advocate for you and your child. I would recommend Shelley to any family working through the IEP or 504 process.

I want to say thank you for your help. Last week's meeting was the best meeting we have had so far. I appreciate your help in making that happen. I feel like my staff does what is best for all of our students and I tend to get very defensive when someone thinks otherwise. Thank you again for being a voice of reason when needed.

I recommend anyone having trouble understanding their child/children IEP to reach out to Shelley Kenow. She has helped me tremendously and still continuing to help me with my sons IEP. Not only has she taking her time out to meet with me she also has attend over a hour and half long IEP meeting. Never once seemed frustrated or annoyed how long it was taking. She always responds back very quickly to email or text. She had went above and beyond for my son and I. I can’t thank her enough.
Anytime I have a question I don’t hesitate to ask. She is a wonderful person inside and out. She actually cares even if she has never met your child. She gives wonderful advice and takes her time to review all the documents you have.
I recommend her to anyone that is struggling with not only understanding the IEP and what everything means but she reviews it and will help make suggestions if your not satisfied with what’s currently happening.

Today we had a meeting to add some things to my son's IEP. I figured it would be an easy meeting as it was a follow up. I was so wrong! This meeting was way worse than the last one. Last time I had, Shelley Kenow, an AMAZING IEP advocate with me. I made the mistake of not calling her in this time as I was thinking it was a quick follow up...as I was led to believe. Boy was that an understatement! I fought hard and made my points, but now I'm icing the bruises and bandaging up the wounds. I'm exhausted, I'm drained, I want to cry again. I will NEVER have another IEP meeting without Shelley present.
